News: "Morality"
We've all heard that some pharmacists refuse to fill subscriptions for birth control because it conflicts with their moral beliefs, yes?
Standing up for your beliefs is a good thing to do, but why take a job where you must perform duties that go against these beliefs every day? Some of the pharmacists are even refusing to transfer over the prescriptions to somebody else who will fill them out. This isn't about standing up for your beliefs; it's about *making a statement*.
Be sure to check out the post on body and soul which brings up even more issues like, for example, that birth control pills have other uses besides birth control (but surely these guys would know that since they're bloody pharmacists and all?)
