President Bush claims that this form of propoganda is legal and plans to continue its use (reuters, courtesy yahoo news). Recall that this propoganda is in the form of a news broadcast, with absolutely no indication that this is an ad and not an actual, real news broadcast. The president himself is behind it. This is the same administration that paid a news commentator to promote the No Child Left Behind act (see same article).
For once, the FCC may prove useful.
