Why does this administration not care when people get beat with clubs or get their legs broken?

Because they're lazy, because they're incompetent...no. It's because this administration is the American version of the mafia.

Donald Rumsfeld told the World Affairs Counsil that Syria is, and I quote, "not behaving in a wise manner". He added that the US and other countries are going to have to "put pressure on them" so that they understand the disadvantages of their behavior.

Really? Or what, he's going to send them to sleep with the fishes? Okay, Fat Tony, whatever you say.

(I also think that the two protesters who managed to get into the meeting deserve mad props. Maybe if we all chip in, we can hire them a couple of bodyguards so that they aren't involved in any 'accidents'.)
